2 High School Football Players Arrested, Kicked Off Team

EVERGREEN, Colo. (CBS4) - Two high school football players in Evergreen have been arrested in a hazing case.

The players, whose names are not being released, were kicked off the team as a result of the incident.

Authorities said the students were booked into a juvenile jail in Jefferson County and later released to their parents.

Principal Brandon Brekke released a letter to parents, saying "Safety and security of our students is always a priority ... remind your students about the Safe2Tell program ..."

Students can report bullying incidents anonymously through the program.
