2 Fugitives Arrested Near Florence

FLORENCE, Colo. (AP) — Two fugitives accused of committing child sex crimes in Florida have been arrested at a campground near Florence.

The Fremont County Sheriff's Office says Douglas and Leah Manning were taken into custody by deputies and U.S. Marshalls on felony charges.

Douglas was accused of two counts of sexual assault on child and one count of lewd behavior on a child. Leah was arrested on suspicion of one count of child neglect without bodily harm, one count of sexual assault on child and one count of lewd behavior on a child, according to a statement from the sheriff's office.

Details on the accusations were not available.

The married couple was being held without bond.
