2 Firefighters Injured Fighting Fire That Burned Townhomes In Centennial

CENTENNIAL, Colo. (CBS4) - Two townhomes in Centennial sustained heavy damage after a fire broke out Thursday afternoon.

The fire broke out at the homes located in the 5700 block of South Pearl Street just after 1 p.m.

Three other units were damaged by smoke.

Sixty firefighters were on hand from South Metro, Littleton and Denver.

Two firefighters were taken to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

It's not clear if anybody was in the homes.
