2 Face Charges In Felony Menacing Incident That Closed C-470

GOLDEN, Colo. (CBS4) - Two people face charges after police shut down C-470 in Jefferson County on Monday.

Deputies closed the road after getting reports of people with guns near Bowles Avenue. Officers eventually took a man and a woman into custody and they face charges of felony menacing.

The suspects have been identified as Travis John and Gabrielle Shirk, both 43. Police said they were living in a makeshift structure under an overpass near Bowles. Deputies say the pair threatened that they had guns but no guns were found.
