2 Denver Pot Businesses Recalling Products With Pesticide Residues

DENVER, Colo. (CBS4) - Two Denver marijuana companies are recalling marijuana products that could be tainted with potentially unsafe pesticide residues.

Denver Recreational and Sacred Seed are voluntarily recalling the marijuana products.

"Denver Recreational's recalled products include marijuana plant material (flower, trim, shake, and hash concentrates) and vaporized pen cartridges that contain hash oil," Danica Lee with the City and County of Denver said in a statement. "A sample tested positive for residues of three pesticides that the Colorado Department of Agriculture has determined cannot be used legally on marijuana in Colorado."

The Denver Recreational products have a cultivation facility # of 403R-00174 printed on the label.
