2 Charged In Robbery And Crash

DENVER (CBS4)- A man and a woman accused of robbing a jewelry store at gunpoint and then crashing their getaway car have been formally charged.

Stacy Mariney, 31, and Delawna Miller, 25, have been charged with kidnaping, eight counts of aggravated robbery, four counts of menacing, vehicular eluding and theft.

The charges allege that on Monday, Mariney and Miller robbed a jewelry store at gunpoint and left with an undisclosed amount of cash. They crashed their car while trying to flee from police.

Mariney and Miller were arrested at Park Avenue West and Glenarm Place after the driver lost control and crashed.

Both suspects are free on $50,000 and are scheduled to appear in Denver County Court on Oct. 2 at 1:30 p.m. to be advised of the charges.
