10-Year-Old Boy Dies From Gunshot Wound In Aurora

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - A 10-year-old boy died from a gunshot wound in Aurora Friday night.

Police responded to the Nordic Arms Apartments at the intersection of Galena Street and East Colfax Avenue at 9:45 p.m.

Authorities said they found the boy suffering from the injury inside an apartment on the first floor of the building.

The officers were unable to save the boy.

Some family members were being interviewed by police afterwards but no arrests have been made.

Police said there was no danger to the public following the incident.
