Deadly Aurora Mobile Home Fire Intentionally Set

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - One woman died in a mobile home fire in Aurora early Friday morning. Fire investigators said the fire was intentionally set.

The fire broke out shortly after 5 a.m. Friday in the 1800 block of North Carson Street.

One woman was injured in the fire and transported to the hospital where she later died.

Firefighters have ruled the fire was intentionally set but have not elaborated who may have started the fire.

Neighbors told CBS4 lived alone and had difficulty walking.

One man who lived next door to the victim said he's been meaning to visit her and offer her help since she recently starting living alone.

"I kept saying I would do it the next day, and the next and I just didn't do that and I feel kind of regret and maybe if I went every day and maybe this wouldn't have happened," said neighbor Aldo Moreno.

The woman who died has not been identified.

Authorities are not searching for any suspects and said the investigation has been closed.

The home was completely destroyed.
