1 Killed, Another Injured In Separate Shootings In Aurora
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - One person is dead after a shooting in Aurora early Sunday morning.
Officers responded to a call about shots fired at the Canterra at Fitzsimons Apartments located in the 300 block of Potomac Way just after 2:30 a.m. Police found a 20-year-old victim with gunshot wounds. He was taken to University of Colorado Hospital where he died from his injuries.
A little while later Aurora police got a call from someone saying he had been shot. That person was located in the area of East 13th Avenue and East Richthofen Circle. He was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover.
It's not clear if the two shootings are related and police don't have any suspect information.
