Man Arrested Downtown After Pulling Fire Alarms, Making Threats

DENVER (CBS4) - A man police say made threats and activated fire alarms inside a Denver building on Monday morning was arrested on a trespassing charge.

The incident happened at a building at 17th and Stout just after 9:30 a.m.

"It sounds like this man was trespassing, was able to get beyond security into the building and then was pulling fire alarms, called 911 and was making threats, so it doesn't appear to be connected to any particular resident here in the building," police spokesman Doug Schepman said.

Denver police said there was no threat to the public following the arrest, and none of the threats were credible.

The suspect has not been identified.
