1 In Custody After Shooting, Victim Expected To Survive

DENVER (CBS4) - One person is in custody after a shooting outside the Super 8 Motel near West 26th Avenue and Zuni Street.

The victim had unspecified injuries but is expected to survive. Police caught up with the suspect at West 28th Avenue and Clay Street. Two cars, a grey sedan and red Hummer, were searched and towed from the scene.

West 26th Avenue was closed near the motel for a short time as officers filled the parking lot, but has been reopened.
