1 Hospitalized With Serious Injuries After Hit & Run In West Denver
DENVER (CBS4) - Denver police are investigating a hit-and-run that occurred Wednesday night.
Police said the crash occurred just before 9 p.m. near 1st Avenue and Perry Street. It appears a dark-colored sedan swerved to miss car at stop light and hit the pedestrian and kept going, according to police. The sedan knocked the pedestrian into the other traffic lane and the adult female victim was struck by a dark midsize SUV.
A traffic investigator told CBS4 the victim was transported to the Denver Health Medical Center with a possible broken leg.
Officers are looking for both the small dark-colored sedan with dark tinted windows and the dark midsize SUV. The driver of the SUV might not know they hit somebody.
The victim's name hasn't been released.
