1 Dead After Car-Pedestrian Collision

DENVER (CBS4) - One woman is dead after an accident involving a car and a pedestrian in east Denver. Investigators are looking for witnesses who can help them determine what happened.
The crash happened near the intersection of Alameda Avenue and Clinton Street just after 7 a.m. Thursday.
Police said the woman who was struck and killed was not in the crosswalk. The driver who struck the woman did not stop.
Investigators hope witnesses come forward with a suspect vehicle description.
