1 Dead, 1 Seriously Injured In Hit & Run, Suspect Arrested

DENVER (CBS4)- One person was killed and another seriously injured in a hit-and-run on Broadway Saturday morning.
UPDATE: Broadway/Ellsworth auto vs. 2 peds H/R 1 adult female pronounced. 1 male victim w/SBI. 1 party arrested. Update posted as available.

Police say the two were walking when they were struck by a vehicle. One female was killed and a male was seriously injured. The victim has not been identified.
One person was arrested in Lakewood in connection with the crash. That suspect has been identified as Jason Brown.
Police believe the victims may have been homeless.
Detectives are trying to piece together what happened leading up to the crash.
