1 Arrested After Shooting At McDonald's

WESTMINSTER, Colo. (CBS4)- Police arrested one man in connection with a shooting at a McDonald's restaurant in Westminster on Tuesday night.

Police rushed to the fast food restaurant at 72nd and Sheridan about 11:40 p.m. Tuesday. Officers say the adult male victim was sitting in his car when he was approached by the adult male suspect.

The suspect, later identified as Joshua Wasson, threatened the victim with a gun. When the victim drove away, the suspect shot at the car, hitting the car at least one time.

The driver was not hit and was not injured. The suspect ran away and was captured by officers a short time later.

Detectives say the suspect and victim do not know each other and continue the investigation into the motive for the shooting. The victim has not been identified.
