Two Men Wrongfully Convicted Of Murder File Lawsuit Against Chicago Police Department

CHICAGO (CBS) --  Two men who each spent 16 years behind bars for a murder they didn't commit have filed a federal lawsuit against the Chicago Police Department.

John Fulton and Anthony Mitchell say they were forced into making false confessions when they were teenagers.

At the time Fulton was 18, and Mitchell was 17.

Both were sentenced to 31 years and served more than 16 years behind bars.

Last year a judge threw out their convictions, and prosecutors wound up dropping all charges against them.
