Wrigleyville's Bookworks Closing Shop In October

CHICAGO (CBS) -- After 32 years, Bookworks is closing up shop in Wrigleyville.

"Possibly the most difficult decision I've had to make," said Ronda Pilon.

Pilon and her husband, Bob Roschke, have owned Bookworks since 1984.

They're closing to take their business on line.

The Internet has taken away some business, and the rent has gone up.

And then there's Wrigleyville.

"It is a different clientele when you see people out partying," said Roschke.

Bookworks has thousands of out-of-print books.

Even some unusual titles, like "How To Love Your Pancreas."

"Oh yeah, we had it," Pilon said

Ronda Pilon says she's felt lucky these past 32 years.

"Because this is something I love to do," she said. "Operating the open bookstore and having Chicago come into your door. This has been the thing I have loved."

Bookworks, on Clark near Newport, is having a sale: 25 percent off everything, until August 15.

Then it's 50 percent off until closing day, Oct. 15.
