CHICAGO (CBS) -- The Cubs last made a World Series appearance in 1945.
The team also made it three times in the 1930s.
The image here is from the Chicago History Museum's collection.
The year was 1935, and we can't help but wonder how much money teams left on the table by not marketing all of the Major League Baseball apparel.
That said, there's something about men attending a ball game in suit, tie and fedora.
