Woman Shot In West Pullman

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A woman was shot early Wednesday in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The 24-year-old woman was outside in the 12300 block of South Normal Avenue shortly after 1 a.m. when she heard shots and realized she'd been hit, police News Affairs Officer Ronald Gaines said.

She was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where she was listed in good condition with gunshot wounds to both legs, Gaines said.
