CHICAGO (STMW) -- A woman was shot while standing on Western Avenue in the Ashburn neighborhood on the South Side Wednesday night.

About 7:21 p.m., the 32-year-old was standing in the 7500 block of South Western when she heard several shots and immediately felt pain, police said. She suffered two gunshot wounds to her left calf.
