Woman Shot At Gold Coast Senior Home Friday Afternoon

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A woman was shot multiple times in the chest and stomach in the Gold Coast on Friday.

It happened in the 100 block of West Elm Street around 11:50 a.m.

The 63-year-old victim was taken to Northwestern Hospital in critical condition.

Police have a suspect in custody and a gun was recovered in a yard next door.
