Woman Seriously Wounded In Chatham Shooting
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A woman was seriously wounded in a shooting in the Chatham neighborhood on the South Side Tuesday evening.
About 6:40 p.m., the woman, thought to be in her 30s, was shot several times in the left leg in the 9200 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue, police said.
She was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in serious condition, police said.
No one was in custody as Area South detectives investigated.
