Woman Raped At Ravenswood Parking Garage
A woman was sexually assaulted Wednesday night in a parking garage in the Ravenswood neighborhood.
CBS 2's Susanna Song reports the woman told police she was attacked around 10 p.m., on the top floor of a garage at the corner of Damen and Sunnyside avenues.
The garage where the rape happened is located near the Ravenswood Professional Building, and is surrounded by houses and apartment buildings.
Detectives and evidence technicians were examining the scene early Thursday, and were questioning the victim at the hospital to get more information about her attacker.
The victim was being treated at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center.
