Woman Killed In Crown Point Crash

CROWN POINT, Ind. (CBS) -- A 52-year-old woman was killed early Monday when her car flipped over in a crash in Crown Point, Ind.

Police said two cars crashed on 109th Avenue, just east of the Interstate 65 interchange, around 5:45 a.m.

When emergency crews arrived, they found one of the vehicles had overturned, and the driver had died. The driver of the other vehicle also was injured, but notseriously.

The driver has been identified as a 52-year-old woman from Granger, Ind. Her name has not yet been released.

Police were investigating the cause of the crash, and could not provide further details.
