CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man has been charged in connection with the death of a woman in South Austin.

Kelly Seebruch, 42, was discovered in an alley just after midnight Saturday morning near Chicago and Waller avenues. 

Police said 64-year-old Arnel Smith is charged with stabbing Seebruch to death. He is facing charges of first-degree murder and concealing a homicide. 

Sources tell CBS 2 she was found covered in a blanket, her wrists bound with a phone charging cord. She had been beaten and her throat slashed.
