Elderly Woman Dead In Edgewater Fire

CHICAGO (CBS) --  A 76-year old woman is dead after a building fire on Kenmore near Granville in the Edgewater neighborhood.

Firefighters responded to the scene around 1:45 a.m. and found the woman inside.

No other injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation, authorities said.
