Woman Charged With Filing False Report On Gun Used In Nordstrom Shooting

(CBS) -- A 23-year-old Skokie woman faces felony charges in connection with the Black Friday shooting at the Nordstrom store on Michigan Avenue, reports WBBM's Mike Krauser.

According to the Cook County State's Attorney's office, Nina Dones owned the gun that police say Marcus Dee used to shoot his ex-girlfriend, Nadia Ezaldein in Nordstrom before turning the gun on himself.

It is alleged that Dones, a Gold Coast bartender, falsely reported in September that the .45 caliber semiautomatic handgun was stolen from her apartment. Dones has been charged with disorderly conduct and was held in lieu of $10,000 bail.

Authorities say Dee was not licensed to carry a gun and that he was a friend of either Dones' former or current boyfriend.
