Wolves Top Griffins, 3-1

(CBS) The Chicago Wolves reeled off three unanswered goals Wednesday morning to nab a 3-1 win at Grand Rapids.

Terry Broadhurst, Philip McRae and Ty Rattie scored for the Wolves, who improved to 6-2-2. Goalie Jordan Binnington made 26 saves and shut the Griffins out for the final 52 minutes and 16 seconds.

Chicago took the lead for good in the second period when McRae slotted his own rebound into the net while the teams were skating 4-on-4.

The Wolves are on the road to face the Wild in Des Moines, Iowa, on Saturday and Sunday.
