The Chicago Wolves fell short to the Cleveland Monsters Sunday as they wrapped up a three-game homestand at the Allstate Arena.

The final score was 3-2.

Josiah Slavin and Skyler Brind'Amour both scored goals, but that was not enough to prevent the Wolves from losing their fourth game in a row — and their second in back-to-back gamesa gains the Monsters.

As documented in a news release, the Wolves grabbed the lead after a scoreless first period when Slavin scored a goal late in the second.

The Monsters scored two goals just over a minute apart before the second period was over, and took the lead. Trey Fix-Wolansky scored first, and Samuel Knazko beat the horn at the end of the period, as documented in a news release.

Luca Del Bel Belluz scored early in the third for the Monsters. Brind'Amour then scored a goal for the Wolves, to bring the score to 3-2.

And that was it. Spencer Martin took the loss in goal for the Wolves, while Zach Sawchenko earned the victory for the Monsters.

The Wolves are now 24-20-2-0, while the Monsters are 26-14-4-4. The Wolves host the Milwaukee Admirals Thursday at the Allstate Arena.
