Chicago Film Showcase Spotlights Women Directors

CHICAGO (CBS) -- The work of women filmmakers will be celebrated Tuesday night in Chicago as part of the Women in Film & Television International Short Film Showcase.

The showcase features films from seven women from around the world, in honor of Women's History Month.

"I'm very proud of being a Chicagoan, and sure I'm happy to be a woman," said award-winning director Oriana Oppice.

Her comedy, Lost and Found, will be among the shorts screened Tuesday night at Alta at K Station.

"It is about two longtime friends who discover a secret about their husbands' relationship with each other, after the husbands die," she said.
