White Sox Trim Spring Roster To 44 With 7 Moves
(CBS) The White Sox have trimmed their spring training roster to 44 players after making seven roster moves Tuesday.
Chicago optioned infielder Leury Garcia, infielder Andy Wilkins and left-hander Onelki Garcia to Triple-A Charlotte.
Right-hander Frankie Montas was optioned to Double-A Birmingham.
Right-hander Logan Kensing, right-hander Nolan Sanburn and left-hander Joe Savery were reassigned to minor league camp.
The White Sox now have 25 pitchers, four catches, nine infielders and six outfielders in their major league camp.
