White Sox-Royals Rainout Rescheduled For Sept. 19

(CBS) Thurday's postponed White S0x-Royals game in Kansas City will be made up on Monday, Sept. 19 at 1:15 p.m. at Kauffman Stadium.

The teams are already set to play three games in a weekend series that weekend, so the makeup game will cap it off on what had previously been an off day for the teams.

Thursday's game was called off because of rain and bad weather. Each team pushed their starters back a day, so right-hander Miguel Gonzalez will take the mound for the White Sox on Friday night while being opposes by left-hander Danny Duffy of the Royals.

Chicago holds a half-game lead on Cleveland in the AL Central and is two games clear of Kansas City.
