White Sox Place Leury Garcia On 10-Day DL With Sprained Finger

(CBS) The White Sox have placed infielder/outfielder Leury Garcia on the 10-day disabled list with a sprained finger on his left hand.

The move is retroactive to Friday. Chicago will make a corresponding move before opening a series at Minnesota on Tuesday evening.

The 26-year-old Garcia is hitting .298 with six homers, 22 RBIs, 28 runs and a .345 on-base percentage in 56 games this season.
