White Sox Place Adam Eaton On 15-Day DL

(CBS)-- The Chicago White Sox have placed center fielder Adam Eaton on the 15-day DL with a strained hamstring.

The Sox have claimed outfielder Moises Sierra off waivers and recalled pitcher Frank De Los Santos from AAA Charlotte. Pitcher Nate Jones was transferred to the 60-day disabled list.

Eaton, 25, left Friday's game against Cleveland in the fourth inning. He is hitting .276, 14 RBI and 20 runs scored in 2014.

Sierra was designated for assignment by the Toronto Blue Jays on May 1. The 25-year-old outfielder went 2-34 with two RBI in 34 games this season.

De Los Santos, 26, has a 0.63 ERA in eight relief appearances between AAA Charlotte and AA Birmingham.
