White Sox Outright Jacob Turner To Triple-A

(CBS) The White Sox have outrighted right-hander Jacob Turner to Triple-A Charlotte, they announced Wednesday.

The demotion of Turner leaves Chicago's 40-man roster at 39.

Turner went 1-2 with a 6.57 ERA and 1.99 WHIP in 24 2/3 innings for the White Sox in 2016.
