White Sox Open Spring Training On Feb. 19, While Cubs Open On Feb. 20

(CBS) The White Sox will hold their first spring training workout on Feb. 19, while the Cubs get their new campaign started a day later, on Feb. 20, MLB announced Monday.

Those first workouts are for pitchers and catchers. The White Sox's first full-squad workout is Feb. 23, and the Cubs' first full-squad workout is Feb. 24.

The White Sox hold their spring training at Camelback Ranch in Glendale, Ariz. The Cubs' home is Sloan Park in Mesa.
