White Sox Call Up 2B Micah Johnson

(CBS) The White Sox have recalled second baseman Micah Johnson from Triple-A Charlotte.

The 24-year-old Johnson hit .270 with three RBIs and eight runs in 27 games earlier this season for Chicago before being optioned to Charlotte on May 14. Johnson had a strong season in the minors, batting .315 with eight homers, 36 RBIs, 28 steals and 54 runs in 78 games for the Knights.

Chicago's active roster is now at 31.
