White Sox Add RHP Tommy Kahnle As 26th Man For Doubleheader

(CBS) The White Sox have recalled right-hander Tommy Kahnle from Triple-A Charlotte to serve as the team's 26th man in Monday's doubleheader against the Indians.

The 26-year-old Kahnle has made one appearance for Chicago this season in two stints in the big leagues, tossing a scoreless inning at Baltimore in late April. He has a 2.76 at Triple-A this season.

Kahnle will be active for both games Monday. The opener from U.S. Cellular Field will start at 4:10 p.m., with Cleveland's Mike Clevinger opposing Chicago's Mat Latos. The nightcap is set for approximately 7:40 p.m., with the Indians turning to Cody Anderson and the White Sox sending Erik Johnson to the hill.

The White Sox lead the AL Central, 2.5 games ahead of the second-place Indians.
