Flames Rip Through Roof In West Woodlawn Fire

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A fire sent flames shooting through the roof in the West Woodlawn neighborhood Friday morning.

The fire broke out around 6:30 a.m. in a two-story building in the 6400 block of South Champlain Avenue, according to the Fire Department.

The fire was extinguished, and there were no transports or injuries.

However, the house sustained extensive damage.
