West Town Community Coalition Seeking Transparency About Carjackings

CHICAGO (CBS)-- As the city deals with a massive jump in carjackings, West Town residents want more preventative action.

The West Town Community Coalition is asking Chicago and Cook County to be more transparent about how they are dealing with the public safety issue.

This year West town has seen 43 incidents, which is 24 more than last year.

It's tied for 6th highest in the city.
