Firefighters were inside the Engine 75 firehouse at 120th and State when a bullet penetrated a ground-level window on the side of the building around 10:30 p.m.

A firefighter reportedly was working at a desk just under the window at the time.

No one was injured.

Police said it was unclear where the gunfire came from, or if it was intentional.

Investigators photographed the area from all angles, spending time at one locker in particular.
