Waukegan Police Release Surveillance Images Of Two Suspects In Gas Station Armed Robbery

(CBS) -- Police in north suburban Waukegan are searching for two armed men who robbed a gas station on Monday.

The two men were wearing masks and displayed handguns before taking cash and cigarettes from the Mobil Gas Station in the 1100 block of Belvidere Road sometime before 5:30 p.m.

Police say that the pair robbed one customer inside the business. No one was hurt.

The first subject is described as a black male, 5'10" with a thin build who was wearing a black jacket with red sleeves, jeans and a black mask.

The second subject is described as a white man, 5'8" with a medium build who was wearing a grey sweatshirt with "ECKO" written in white letters, jeans and a white mask.

Police released surveillance images of the suspects. Anyone with information is asked to call the Waukegan Police Criminal investigations Division at 847-596-5471.
