Watch: 'The Shot' By Michael Jordan From A New Angle

(CBS) From the depths of who knows where, new footage has been discovered of "The Shot" -- Michael Jordan's famous buzzer-beater that pushed the Bulls past the Cavaliers in Game 5 of a 1989 Eastern Conference first-round series.

Sports fans are well-versed in seeing Jordan's jumper over Craig Ehlo from a backcourt baseline view or from the mid-court, elevated sideline camera. Now, a much closer angle has emerged -- from a wide spot in the frontcourt baseline.

Check it out below. Part of the charm is that it has no broadcasting commentary overlaid, just natural sound.

Perhaps that most eerie part is how quickly that sound turns to silence after Jordan's shocks the home crowd. (Though it's quickly interrupted by a crazed reporter.)
