WATCH: Stephen Colbert Declares He Ain't Afraid Of No Goat

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Stephen Colbert spent 11 years in Chicago, suffering along with all of the other Cubs fans.

"The Windy City will always be part of me," he joked on "The Late Show" on Thursday night. "Specifically my lower intestine. It is still packed with a fair amount of sausage."

Colbert graduated from Northwestern University and worked at Second City.

And while he can't erase the vestiges of the encased meats from his innards, he did declare an end to the stupid curse of the Billy Goat.

"The Cubs are going all the way! I guarantee it!" Colbert declared. "I am not scared of you knuckled-kneed sheep wannabes anymore!"
