Watch: Marcus Kruger's Goal In 3OT Beats The Ducks In Game 2

(CBS) If you dozed off late Tuesday night/early Wednesday morning and missed the conclusion of the Blackhawks' thrilling three-overtime 3-2 win against the Ducks in Game 2 of the Western Conference Final, we understand.

It was late -- really, really late, another Blackhawks postseason game lasting past 1 a.m.

While we get it, we think you also need to get filled in on the exciting ending. After the Ducks drew post or crossbar on three separate occasions in the overtime sessions, Marcus Kruger sent everyone home with 3:48 left in the third overtime when, unchecked on the weak side, he batted in a Brent Seabrook shot that had trickled out of Anaheim goalie Frederik Andersen's reach.

After so finally, after more than 116 minutes of play -- the longest contest in Chicago franchise history -- and nearly 79 minutes of scoreless action, the Blackhawks got the big goal to tie the series at 1-1. Game 3 is Thursday in Chicago.
