Watch: Kris Bryant Was Smiling Entire Time On Clinching Out Of Cubs' Championship
(CBS) One of Cubs manager Joe Maddon's favorite mottos is "never let the pressure exceed the pleasure."
Third baseman Kris Bryant embodied that like none other on the championship-clinching out in Game 7 of the World Series on Wednesday night. Bryant was smiling the entire time on a slow roller that he fielded and fired across the diamond to first baseman Anthony Rizzo for the final out of the Cubs' thrilling 8-7 win in 10 innings.
