Watch: Jonny Gomes Carries Big American Flag At Royals Parade, Gives Rousing Celebratory Speech

(CBS) Royals outfielder Jonny Gomes took his turn on stage at the team's World Series championship parade in Kansas City on Tuesday afternoon, and he didn't disappoint.

Toting a big American flag, Gomes gave a rousing victory speech two days after the Royals finished off the Mets in Game 5 to win their first World Series since 1985.

"I'm not a politally correct person," Gomes said. "We whipped their ass."
