Watch: Jimmy Butler Runs Along Aisle In 100 Section Before Returning To Court

(CBS) In the first quarter of the Bulls' 109-90 romp of the Knicks at the United Center on Sunday, Jimmy Butler forced a turnover with a diving save out of bounds. In the process, his momentum forced him to hop over the first row of chairs.

Problem was, with fans taking up every seat around those parts, he had no easy path back onto the playing floor. So he improvised, staying in the aisle of the 100 section to to run some two-thirds of the way down the court before finding an empty chair to scale over and bring the Bulls' 4-on-5 back to even strength.

Check out the video below, and notice how Butler made the day of an enthusiastic young Bulls fan, who gave Butler a pat on the back for his efforts.
