Watch: It's The 16-Year Anniversary Of Kerry Wood's 20-K Game

(CBS) On May 6, 1998, a 20-year-old Kerry Wood took the mound for the Cubs against the Astros on an overcast afternoon.

What followed was a performance for the ages.

Today marks the 16-year anniversary of Wood's 20-strikeout game, which tied a major league record and is viewed by some as the greatest pitching performance of all time. Throwing a complete game shutout, Wood allowed just one hit -- a third-inning infield single to Ricky Gutierrez -- and hit a batter.

He was otherwise untouchable.

Watch all 20 of Wood's strikeouts below. It was certainly a work of art.
