Watch: Iowa's McCabe Slams MSU's Trice Down With Wrestling Move

(CBS) Michigan State beat Iowa, 86-76, last night, and it got ugly late in the contest at the Breslin Center.

Soon after Hawkeyes coach Fran McCaffery was whistled for a technical foul, Iowa senior forward Zach McCabe let his frustrations out too -- by slamming Michigan State's Travis Trice to the floor in a sequence you'd expect to find on the wrestling mats.

Especially egregious is that McCabe stuck out his foot for the trip to seal Trice's plummet to the floor. Somehow, the officials whistled a double foul, making it a dead ball situation in which McCabe was given a lone technical foul instead of being subjected to a flagrant 2 foul. So he curiously avoided an ejection, though he was disqualified with his fifth foul.
